Summer almost over...

The opening of the CNE is a signal that the end of summer is upon us. The back to school sales are taking place and soon we will be cheering on our Ti-Cats at the Labour Day Classic. Then back to school!

The end of summer and start of another school year means that we are preparing for another CORE Kids Program year! We are back with CORE Kids After School Program – 24 weeks of free after school programing starting in October.

We had a great summer with our Rotary Summer Literacy Program and we are excited that we have some great projects and initiatives lined up for the 2019-20 year;

Camp Wanakita & WeRMac Trips for the grade 7 & 8 students at Cathy Wever School

Rotary Rocks Curling Program will be back this fall at the Victoria Curling Club

Children’s Christmas Celebration – the annual Christmas lunch is set for December

We are still working on the new Career Day Experiences, the swimming and computers at Pinky Lewis and our annual Wever Celebrates. We have started planning the Wever Family Christmas – Breakfast with Santa and the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Powell Park.
